CFI Canada’s mission is to provide education and training to the public in the application of skeptical, secular, rational and humanistic inquiry through conferences, symposia, lectures, published works and the maintenance of a library.

-Manitoba Conservative MP Ted Falk says he will not attend Steinbach’s 1st Pride parade in July, because the rights of the frog outweigh the rights of a human.

-Wegmans, a chain of 89 grocery stores, refused to bake and decorate a cake for a private celebration for those who have left the faith of Islam, because that might hurt the feelings of their Muslim employees.

-The US Senate doesn’t want to make it too hard for terrorists to buy guns.

-Hindu leaders are not amused with these shoes, seller of shoes could face 10 years in prison under Pakistan’s blasphemy laws

-Study shows that any positive effects from brain-training games are all in your head

-Sometimes, massacres of gays make religious leaders positively giddy with happiness:

“Are you sad that 50 pedophiles were killed today? Um no. I think that’s great. I think that helps society. I think Orlando, Florida, is a little safer tonight. The tragedy is that more of them didn’t die. The tragedy is I’m kind of upset he didn’t finish the job — because these people are predators. They are abusers.”
